I wondered why you were just giving it away. I suggested you give it to Ferm so he could flip it to help pay for the marriage to his wifey. You gave that guy a Skool's Out deal!! LOL!!!

That does stink but on the rec.boats newsgroup there was a guy in Mass. who owned on of the General Lee cars from the movie. Somehow he heard from a guy saying he was an Iraq vet and how he loved the car. Upshot of the deal was he gave the car to him only to find it on ebay in short order.

He told he always wanted to own a V , told me he will restore it and post pictures etc, all along he was just a hustler !
I even included the new seats, rod holders, fuel sender etc !
My friend help him load the Boat for over an hour ( I was not at home) he did not even give the darn unemployed man a penny for his time !

So you gave this guy the boat thinking he was going to keep it and fix it and now it on craigslist. Did you send him a post off his listing.

I was hoping to give the Boat not to a hustler but an honest poor person looking for a Boat to restore and enjoy. I let it slide , hopefully it finds a good home . I love that Boat it was my first ..
