Default Fuel Tank Info

Hi All,

I have an '89 V20. Last year my fuel tank developed a leak near the sending unit. The sticker I was able to get through the inspection port was mostly destroyed and only shows that it is an aluminum tank manufactured by a company in Perry, FL. I can't read the company name. Does anyone happen to know what company would have made the tank or maybe a good source for a new one?

Also, how much trouble is it usually to remove this tank. It's a center tank. I'm thinking unscrew the floor panel and it's probably held in with straps and foam. Should I be planning on a weekend project?

Thanks for your help,

RIBoater

But they have since changed their name, there is thread somewhere about that. They are still in business, I believe.

There's a company named United Welding Services out of Perry that makes a ton of aluminum products, maybe it's them.

Default Fuel Tank Source

If you have a schematic of your tank you might try INCA molded Plastics- they were the OEM for the tank in my 92. Not sure if the aluminum tank is the same design as the Cross Poly Link PLastic tanks used in 92, but they are both 60gal deck models- might be worth a look.
