Mine was clean looking with out that rail!
They have no reason as there is no way for you to be standing out there anyway!! Just slide hatch open and work anchor from there its fine even without the pulpit. Just my opion.

I offered a set to hammer, but he never said one way or the other that he was interested.
Anyways, I have MJ's old set of rails beside my garage. If anyone wants them, they're free for members of this website. All I ask is that you cover the shipping costs. MJ cut them in the middle of the bow. Easy fix with a bow rail fitting from any boat supply retailer. 8)
