Any one put aluminum or frp on there t top instead of canvas

I would think that 1/2 inch PT ply, that was glassed and then faired and painted would be awesome. Maybe even 1/4 so you could put some sort of shape to it if you needed to.

OMG well i just came up with this idea today i have and old golf cart top i was thinking on retro fit-it and see how it fits

my buddy that makes t-tops buys finished fiberglass sheets, about 1/8 inch, they come gel coated on both sides, just trace out a pattern, transfer to the glass, cut it out, gel the raw edges with a paint brush and install. There used to be some one that advertised in the CCA publication that made tops out of some vynil product(had a vynil siding manufacturing business), made an ugly fishing hat out of the same material
