Default the hull truth

so after listening to you guys talk about it for years, i finally broke down and went over. i was skipping around and i fell into this long thread about a guy totally rebuilding a 25 mako. looks like this thing is gonna be a brand new boat when he's done. i cant wait to see it. he's doing unbelieveable work.

Charlie, have you ever seen the X-Shark build? Five years worth of work. Built with only the finest composite materials. Custom pilothouse. Its an awesome boat. But he is selling it now for $30k. He just bought a massive Parker. If I was to go to a bigger boat, it would be an old 25' Mako. Sorry but the 250 Sportsman just is not my cup of tea.

I have been on THT, off and on. Never joined. I prefer my local fishing forum and this one right here.

The guy is out of Charleston. Pretty darn good bottom fisherman. Recently broke the world record for hogfish on hook and line, which is insane. The boat is going to be sweet....been following it from the beginning, but not on THT.

THT is a rough site.
But CTT might be able to stomach it.

I've been a member of THT for several years now, but rarely frequent it. Especially since I started coming here. No need to go there.

Clicked on it a few times. Seems like for every decent member there they have a douchebag member. Charlie, I think you should join and do nothing but talk chit. Starting with your first post.

I think Charlie should be our (wellcraft v20 cult) gift to the Hull truth. Charlie, don't cut them any slack!

BR, is that Fin's boat? He does nice work.

Personally, a 25 Mako is a wet riding pig, there are much better boats to spend time and money on. I'd take a 23 Scepter, 233 Formula, 25 Sea vee, 24 Albemarle, etc any day over that Mako, I've run several of them, as long as you've got money for gas, they will ride good, but you need to tow another boat with gas cans in it to get anywhere

I only visit a couple of sections on THT.

Check out this build.

Can someone tell me what kind of "putty" that is he keeps referring to on there. Could use some of that on my little boat build.
