| Bow Rail Hardware

I know a lot of you are talking about removing the rail. I like my rail and I actually need to replace the hardware. I found this hardware on e-bay and I am not near the pirate ship right now, so I was wondering if these are the correct fittings? If someone wants to sell me their removed hardware, let me know. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOAT-...spagenameZWDVW

HEY MAN, CHECKED OUT THE HARDWARE, IT IS NOT THE RIGHT STUFF. I REPLACED MINE THIS SPRING FROM A BRAND FROM BOATERS WORLD. NONE OF THE BRACKETS ON THE V20 HAVE A "T" SHAPE, THE ONES YOU NEED ARE ALL ANGLED, AT 60 DEGREES. DONT BUY THIS STUFF

I LOOKED AT THE SITE AGAIN, THEY ARE 1" DIAMETER, YOU NEED 7/8" DIAMETER. AND THEY ARE CHROME PLATED, SO SINCE YOU ARE IN SALTWATER, THEY WILL START TO PIT AND CORRODE THE FIRST TIME YOU TAKE THE BOAT OUT. IF YOU JUST NEED THE BASES, I SUGGEST BOATERS WORLD OR WEST MARINE, AND DON'T BUY ANYTHING OTHER THAN STAINLESS STEEL (THEY WONT CORRODE). I THINK I PAID AROUND $12 EACH FOR THE BASES. NOT BAD, PLUS NO SHIPPING OR WAIT.

Hi parishht, Go onto Ebay / Boats and do a search on "stainless steel". You will find all kinds of 316 stainless steel fittings for around $6.50 apiece. 316 stainless steel fittings are about the best marine SS fittings you can buy. Alot of the Boaters World and West Marine fittings are 304 SS. (not good) The $6.50 price is for 1" 316 fittings. 7/8" fittings should be even cheaper. Stay away from 304 stainless or any plated fittings. I hope this helps as EBay has saved me lots of money for top quality hardware and parts!!!
