So, I've been looking around this site for a week or so and have gained a ton of really cool insight into repairing the boat I just recently purchased. I have to, as many others have said they've done, replace the transom in my boat. I decided to pour mine using Arjay rather than use plywood based on the info here and recommendations from others on this site. Anyways, I ended calling "Fiberglass Services" yesterday. They told me the price of a 5 gal. can of Arjay 6011 is going to cost me $166. The lady I spoke to (Dell <sp>) said I also have to purchase a catalyst. I had to ask her about this specifically as she didn't offer the information. So, I wonder why I have seen a number of you guys saying Arjay can be gotten for around $105-$115 for a 5 gal can. Is there something I'm missing or do some of you get a deal somehow. I mean, thats a difference of around $170 or so. Any help would be appreciated. I live in the Orlando area so I can go there and pick it up (thankfully).
