Today i mocked up my single wide leaning post height to except my portable live well. Before i mount my leaning post base im gonna drill a small hole for a wire to come thru the base and put a trolling motor style plug to plug in the live well and operate it from the switch panel.

I guess with the hawse pipe and the sampson post that you'll be mounting an anchor on a tilting roller?

Great idea routing the livewell wire into the post!

The Bollard/Bit was kind of an overkill. I had it laying around and said to myself it will look badass on this ole classic. I will be putting a bow roller on it at some point. I do alot of tautog fishing and i like the get the rope vertical over structure......it makes for alot of pressure on a cleat setup

This Lewmar tilting roller works great and holds the anchor in place, ready at all times.

Thumbs up

She's really looking sweet! Love the sampson post and the hawse pipes too. I've found thicker anchor rode, like 5/8" or better works better at going through and not getting tangled. Also dig running the wire through the leaning post.

You should be very proud, she's a beauty!

Ran the the harness and shift/throttle cables today. Set the console up and installed key/kill switch and binnacle. And put second coat of spar varnish on the wheel base.
