The trouble is the cost, it was around $900/year back then (8-10 years ago) but I have heard that it is over $2500/year now at the same place.

its more around here MJ, can't really afford it either but the difference in work and enjoyment is phenominal. The end of the day they pull it for me, put it on a work station, I flush the engine with salt away, spray and wash it down, have my truck right there to load things into and after I am done they put her back high and dry, more expensive than a marina but very nice and you can really take care of your boat and she stays out of the salt.

Hey Willy...good talkin' to ya last nite!! ...I can see now where water goes under the seat and into the splash...that's pretty cool cause no floor drains to clog up on ya...in the transom picture, looks kinda like a flap or something the transducer wire's comin' out of (can't see it good as all black so probably wrong)

...anyway, looks like you and the Admiral are all set

No you are right there Oz, he had the wire going thru there for the transducer. That is now gone and the motor well drain is free. But replacing those little motor drains are my winters project. There are no floor scuppers on the 88 and above years I believe, unless they are diffrent for the I/Os. The floor is about three inches higher and they don't need them to be fully (and quickly) self bailing. Deck water runs out like niagra falls. Obviously no thru hulls at the water line either which I like a lot.
