MJ spends the better part of the day waxing something. Unfortunately, it's not his boat he's waxing. :o ::)

The guy finally goes to work after 9 months of loafing and he's already crying the working man's blues :'( ;D
Oh woe is Joe. :-*

Hey Bud. Go to my gallery pics. I modified one of the pics to show you the ladder setup my buddy made for getting in and out of his boat when at the launch ramp like we were talking about the other day. Not the best picture, but you'll get the idea. Of course his problem now is that he added that bow roller for the anchor. I'll bet he barks up his shins pretty good on that thing. I used it a couple of times and even with the bow rail left unmodified, it was very easy to get on board. I liked your idea too though. I'm sure you'll come up with something.

Get those dimensions for me on the radar arch. Oh, BTW, that reminds me. Would you be wanting any antenna mounts. What I mean is basically a couple of flat plates welded between the two tubes for mounting purposes (don't get any funny ideas. I mean mounting antennas). I already told him to figure in a couple.

CB would you happen to have a picture of the anchor roller and deck. I'm curious on how the anchor is held tight in the roller and how he changed his running lights. I'm looking for anoyjrt project to fill my spare time. It would be nice to get the anchor out of the way. ;D thanks Bill Mc

MJ. the bow was left intact and he climbs over it.

Mac, I'd have to ask him if he has any other photos of the roller setup. I can tell you that he removed the dual red/green light and installed separate ones on either side of the boat. The bow roller is through bolted with an aluminum plate backing it up underneath in the rope locker. He rigged something up from a set of bow chocks and a hole in the shank of the Danforth anchor so that when it's pulled up tight in the roller, you push a pin through the hole in the shank. the anchor rode and chain gets dropped down one of those deck pipes with the hinged lid and a PVC tube below to guide the rode and chain into the locker. I doubt that he has any photos of this but I'll ask.

Hey Mac, have you seen the pics of my anchor roller/platform setup in my gallery. There is also a discussion of this project in the modifications forum.
The anchor is held tight by a windline anchor tensioner (see west marine or boaters world catalog).

If you have any questions, please ask them in the other thread. I will be happy to answer them. :)

You might want to try Nextrail trailers-800-570-6070. I got a alum.tandem trailer w/ stainless components delivered from the factory for my v-20 for $1850. I think that's a pretty decent deal. I did not opt for the brakes b/c I live less than .25 miles from my drop in site.
