Hey Mulv, Everything went well. Boat started up on the second try...forget to purge the ball. Idles at about 800 rpms. Checked and recked all the wires and looked for smoke. Nothing, so I took out into the Bay. I really wanted to hit this one wreck today, but the foggy/hazzy over cast, I decided to stay just outside teh breaker wall. DOnt like not being able to see those tankers in teh shipping lane where teh wreck lies.
Here a pic. of a ship that I passed by.

Great Pic I'm glad everything worked out. I'm gonna take some buddies fishing on Sunday, I'm hoping to get out in the bay. My father and brother did pretty well in the bay last weekend so I'm gonna try where they were and if nothing I'll probably move out to the rips.

Mulv, You dont mean th eLewes Rips do ya. MAN, the rips off the point are known to turn boats over. Its all flat until you hit the point where the ocean meets the bay, and its all white capping. Just in one area. I went through the ripps tonights. I was told its because the depth goes from 30 feet to 100 feet real quick.
Thats the are I was gonna wrap myself in th eanchor chain and jump overboard, thinking STINK was gone.
Would have lost a good anchor ;D

Cape May Rips, I have always caught fish there. Its a little tricky if you don't have the right drift. Its really only a problem when you drift a stern. I need to find these guys some fish so I have a full tank of fuel and plan on running around till I find some. Even if its just croakers and sharks, that would be fine.

Hey Mulv,
there are usually some fish at the "Hay Stacks".
Mostly the sand sharks at this time of year,
but they are fun to catch cause there are a lot of them.
Some times I think the same one keeps hitting the hook.
