The problem is going be to much adhesion!!! once applied it will take c-4 to remove it!!. they apply this stuff over rubber membrane, masonary, plastics, frp (fiberglass), epoxy and even some asphalt applications. There is gonna be no problem with sticking. This is actually the same alephatic compound as kiwi grip or gorrilla grip just doesnt have the chunky chips in it. Its a smooth surface. comes out finished with a 35 mil. thickness.

Could I have used a similar product on my motorhome roof? If so, that's awesome stuff....I've used it for numerous applications around the house. What color does it go on? The stuff I use is white, sold by gallon or 5 gallon

The only way I can explain it is that its a polyurethane sealant coating. kinda like 3m 5200, but 5200 is a aromatic witch is not very uv stable and not very color retentive (5200 chaulks up after a while and yellows). this compound is a aliphatic witch was made for top coating aromatics. Being aliphatic makes it a super coating which is highly uv stable and holds its color retention for a very very very long time. Theres only one down fall to this stuff, If i decide to take it off one day its gonna be impossible!!!! lol!!!

Well the day is good!!! the rep. for SRC drove literally 30 minutes to my house just to give me a free 5 gallon bucket of this coating. he is very anxious to see how my application comes out. He also mentioned if this works out the way he expects it to that he is willing to want to start trying to market this stuff for the marine industry. Kinda exciting thing to be a guinne pig. should be doing some testing on saturday afternoon over raw glass and gel coat. My liner will and side of my cockpit will be primed and painted with perfection but all my imediate deck and cap with rolled with this product.

Kracker, is this stuff like RhinoLiner for truck beds? If it is than I put similar stuff on my V21's boat deck 2 years ago and it's amazing how nice it is. And yes, if you ever have to remove it you're gonna hate it.

Yes its the same stuff but doesnt have as much solids in it than rhino liner has. meaning its not as agressive as rhino lining. Its very feet friendly

Heres a prime example of a company that put a marine label on the roof coating im using on my boat. Notice it say E.P.D.M chips in it? what do you think rubber membrane is on flat roofs? you got it EPDM. Same $hit just in a different sack.http://www.tuffcoat.net/wordpress/ and did i mention the stuff im using is fire resistant, so if she catches fire were good!!!!! lol!!!

I didn't use Rhino Liner per sec. I just used that name cause everyone knows the product. For the life of me I cannot remember the name right now and I'm too lazy to look up the thread here where I talked about the product I used and it's name. The product I used is very soft on bare feet. But I can tell you that it goes on easy and once on it will take an act of Congress and the will of God to remove it. It was recommended to me by a friend that owns a marina. He told me they use it on boat decks, the floating docks and the areas around them as a non skid surface. Claimed it was better than anything else they had tried. I'm betting that you're going to be very happy with the results.
