I just joined here today and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I hope this is the right place for this post because I didn't see any place for new member introduction. Please forgive me if I put this in the wrong spot.
My name is David, I am from Connecticut and I just bought a real "gem". It is a 1976 V-20 in awesome condition and she looks almost new. I am picking her up tonight and I am still in shock that I was able to buy this beauty from the owner. I have always had small boats and this is a first for me owning such a vessel. I honestly feel like I won the lottery! I cannot wait to go on the maiden voyage and do some fishing for stripers. I will be adding some pictures to the V-20 Gallery as soon as I get it home to take some photos. This is truly a great site and you all seem so family like. I only hope I can be part of this V family in the future. Looking forward to buying a couple of the V-20 Tee shirts also! I am "totally psyched" as my two teenage daughters say. I cannot wait till my son who is serving in the Air Force sees our new baby, he will be very pleased and anxious to come home I am sure. I named the V-20, BENJENKATE, after my three wonderful children. Sorry for my ranting but the V-20 craze has me by the seat of my pants! Thanks for such a great website... Shawsee
