willy.....that's what I thought. I have contacted a guy at work about a 2005 Merc kicker that I THINK is long shaft but can't positively confirm since he told me he measured 18"......I have asked him for the model number but no response yet. He last told me he foudn out there was a problem with the kill switch or something and had ordered a part.

That said, when I saw this Johnson I thought it would look so purty next to the 115. Too short I am sure. bummer.......

I kinda like the 90 hp cowl on the 110, kind of like a sleeper, maybe I could put a 175 on my 225 ;) 8)

I was driving home from a job yesterday and saw a guy selling an 8 hp johnson, 20" shaft, 2 cyl. late 90's. Is 8 hp enough for the v20? It appears to be in good cond.....not mint cond. I didn't nail him down on a price but he did say "around" 500.00.

I'm going to give it another look tomorrow. In fact it has the same colors and decals as the 175 Johnson in the first post.1999?
