Yeah, and depending on which state you live in, you may even have to buy a third level seat

Mulv mentioned that he had to buy the next level of car seats (for his growing child); that new car seat is appropriate for a certain height and weight range. Some states have different laws such that you'd have to buy yet another car seat for children who are bigger than the intermediate seat is rated for...

hey cy, i too like the extended cab, but i think the way to go would be a 4 door pickup.
i cant imagine its going to be easy to get a baby into a car seat in the back of that little cab.

i'm kinda looking for the 4 door because the 2 stooges need some room back there and they each want their own door.

Cy, You will not fit a car seat in that truck. If I were you I would tell the wifey that you need a bigger truck because of the car seat. Its the perfect reason for a bigger, safer vehicle.

BR.....would love to have that one, but dont have the cash for it till I sell this dam JEEP.

Mulv....the child seat will spend most of the time in the minivan, but on rare occasions i might need to take the kid with me.

I already have a bigger safer truck.

but i have to get rid of it cause the payments and gas is killing me. I got laid off 1 day (8 hours) a week, and money is tight. (dam housing market)

the truck is getting traded in on a used minivan, and want to get some equity out of the jeep to put in the bank. then buy a used truck with cash and still have some left to leave in the bank.

That is the goal anyway.

So on the rare occasion can i put the child seat sideways in the back of the tacoma?????
