Hey Reel,

I am interested, If you remember were you saw the one at Hartwell. I can go and see if I could find it. Do you remember how much work was needed. Or anyother details. Prices? What is a sea drive? Anything you can remember would be great.

Thanks

Bean, let me E-Mail this guy to see if this boat is still available...I'll post here when I hear back from him...

Sea-Drive has a full transom(good) w/ a fixed factory bracket w/"outboard" (good/not so good, it depends)...I drove this one and THINK it to be in pretty good shape...

Also I have heard that it is a solid hull. So here are my questions.
Would it make a good lake boat, for fishing, cruising, lake exploring, Etc...
I won't ask the inboard/outboard question.
How much does the boat and trailer weight? Could I tow it with my 2000 Jeep Cherokee
How wide is the boat and trailer?

Thank for you help
You'll have no problem going forward . . . it stopping that's the hard part. Make sure you have trailer brakes . . . I tow with a 1992 Jeep Comanche 4.0L . . . I put on a set of helper springs recently and it has made a HUGE difference.

If you go pickup a boat 8hours away . . . make sure you replace or check and grease the wheel bearings. Bring some new wheels and tires too.

Here's a shot of me doing some good old fashion CHEROKEE towing. Tongue weight can be an issue with these things though(espescially when the engine and outdrive are out of the boat).
