I've experienced at the marina, that we always have at least 10-15 boats every year that start shooting gas everywhere when the weather starts warming up. And even in the summer time, if we get a REALLY hot day the same thing will happen. Just try not to top off your tank untill it spills out of the vent and that should give you enough room in the tank for expansion when the weather changes. I've even seen some boats do it on random days when we haven't had big changes in the weather.

I did not fill after the last trip and there hasn't been any more problems, so I guess thats the deal, I had it to full.
I do need to fill to see how much gas I used the first trip out, after that I will know what I use from trip to tip and be able to mange my trips better that way. I will fill on the way to This will also tell me what I use and I can just add that much to the tank each time. the ramp so I don't have to have it full in the yard again. Thanks guys!!
