This vehicle with the tow package is rated to tow 5000lbs :)
The Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with the exact same drive train is rated to tow 7000lbs.
I can't wait to test it out . . . just waiting for my new hitch to arrive. It's an amazingly smooth ride . . . and the power is awesome. The wagon has a few little leaks that I have to fix, but it's not bad for $2200 (including title, tax and registration fees).

We'll see . . . the limited slip diff works (I played around in the dirt). Not quite like having a locking diff with 4wd drive low, but it'll do.

The best part is that it cost $168 for the year to insure through AAA.

I think you did good. I did a search 500 miles from Panama city, fl and the low was $3000 & high was $8600. avg, $4500.
