			MJ speaks the truth. 1/4" is fine. Even with 1/4" you will have to route the back so some switches will thread on. Some are deep enough, but the ones I chose were not. I just routed about a 1" circle around the switch hole on the back of the dash piece so it wasnt too thick for the switch nuts/boots to thread on.  OH my....did I just give boat repair advice during deer season?  What was I thinking? The deer gods will be so mad!!  I gotta get outta here!! See yall about March!!
