SKRU THE MEXICANS!!

Its laughable to say the least. The most powerful and influental country in the world has both political parties shamlessly sucking up to a bunch of low lifes that will contribute nothing to this country other than more crime and babies and they will always hate us. Its common knowledge all over the world that if you are on the run even with lots of money for pay offs and the USA puts your name at the top of the shi# list you are history and no one can or will save you. Even countries that consistently run their mouth about our policies , death penalty, vietnam ,Iraq war etc will give you up in a heart beat rather than incur the rath of the USG. This same country however is now going to import the kinds of people we go all over the world trying to extradite back to the USA for prision terms only now we are going to give them citizen status when There are millions of Philippinos,chinese, Russians, Latin americans, Poles ,Greeks, Turks and other nationalities that have job skills, can speak english and want to be part of our culture and society that will never get the opportunity because they are doing it the legal way by waiting their turn in line. Thanks to our elected officials and certain church groups and assorted do gooders we now have a huge mess that will only get worse as my super hero Ted Kennedy and company are already starting to draft legislation which will give them hand outs and eligibility for government give away programs. What crap , real americans work all their life for benefits that these people will get for doing absolutely nothing and they will still hate us, refuse to speak english and will never get with the program. I am not a racist and my rant is not meant to be a racial statement but clearly there will be a large mumber of baby smugglers and drug cartel cell leaders that will set up shop in the good old USA as well as killers , kidnappers, money launders, half assed terrorists ,on the run mexican banditos like the tuppamarios and Los Zitas that will probably move next door to me....Frank

There are good and bad in all races I know white trash, black trash, brown trash, and yellow trash. No matter what race there is it seems whatever one you are the others are worse. I don't support coming here illegaly but if you don't know the living conditions alot them have to live in you should not talk. It is not so easy to get permission from the mexican governmet to come to the USA to visit. It is very expensive and they will not give them a visa to come over here. Most of the people I know from Mexico are here legally and are working. I see all walks of life getting wellfare and wasting our tax dollars.

Axe has a point...there's TRASH in every race, nationality and religion ... I don't disagree, but the FLOOD has made it impossible to deal with only pickin' out the bad ones ... I liked some of Willy's ideas ... I'm sorry about their living conditions, but at this rate, our children will be there too and we've come too far to back-slide now...

But here's the BIG PROBLEM:Big Money is running the policies of this country, not the wishes of the American people ... immigration and all our other woes are only symptoms ... our greedy politicians who stuff their coffers at the expense of our freedom are the real problem ... we need to shed the blinders of partisan politics and get back control (even INPUT would be a good step) but as long as voters follow party lines, they've got us right where they want us ... vote out the incumbent every time and we'll get some control back...career politicians, packin' their pockets from big money and special interests are a worse threat to the American way of life than all the terrorists and immigrants on the planet ...the "Grand Experiment" is on the leading edge of failing ...

Axe, no one I know of here has even remotely suggested that there is not good and bad in every race, I know probably better than most spending 33 years in law enforcement. I have traveled a decent portion of the world and I can honestly say that I have never met a group of people or a different culture that I don't like, I love people always have and feel comfortable every where I have traveled and in the company of just about everyone I have met.
Now with that said I will say this, there are very good people from hundreds of country's that have been trying for close to a decade to immigrate into this country and going through the process so they can leaglly become part of our great nation. Many of them under the threat of death daily and on the run, many much poorer than the poor in Mexico.
So in response to your remark I would say that just because we have a nation that borders us with a long stretch to patrol does not give rise to the thought that this nation should take on 12-20 MILLION of these people because they feel right up front that our laws are literally made to be broken. They do it every day. I have seen it personally, I have had to deal with the tradgedies that have unfolded because of them. Yes the majority are decent hard working and religious people. But they are not here LEGALLY, they snuck in and refuse to leave.
We cannot as a nation survive in any recognizable form if we allow this kind of mass exodus to continue to occurr. It will crush our social services, our infrastructure and politically change our nation in the coming years.
Why in God's name would you want to do something that would alter our nation so dramatically and how can anyone with two brain cells running around in their head expect a nation to allow its borders to be so open and laws so blatantly unenforced as to literally change or alter its very existence.
If you think that is hyperbole ask the people of southern california, they will show you how land scape can change real quick, and what it costs to give up whole sections of the country to a population explosion of people who do not want to assimilate into your culture.

And consider this; there is a widespread belief in Mexico that most of the SW that borders Mexico doesn't even BELONG to the United States; that we acquired it wrongly and it should be returned to Mexico :o ... build the wall ... now ...

The narrator was in the Mexican congress and heard a speaker say,
the reconquista of the U.S. has begun.

I am not saying that we should let everyone come in illegally. Everybody should come in legally. No I am not a liberal and I am not a racist either and by saying Skru the mexicans you are referring to all mexicans and that is not right. I do believe that our borders need to be tighter and stricter on anyone coming in.

Reconquista was coined as a facetious term, popularized by Mexican writers Carlos Fuentes and Elena Poniatowska, to describe the demographic and cultural reemergence of Mexicans in the Southwestern United States.

The term is employed almost exclusively by pro-immigration enforcement groups to describe what they perceive as a concerted attempt by Mexicans and Mexican-Americans to wrest away control of United States territory. The premise of this reconquest is an historical claim to the land prior to the presence of European-Americans. The term does not make a claim for Spaniard-Europeans, but rather, for Mexicans, the majority of whom are mixed-blood and full-blood indigenous-blooded people.

It was originally a jocular analogy to the Spanish Reconquista of Moorish Iberia, since the areas of greatest Mexican immigration and cultural diffusion are conterminous with northern New Spain and former Mexican territories.

Since then, the term has been adopted by immigration reform groups to characterize the irredentism of certain Mexicans and Mexican-Americans. [1]

The concept has also been advanced by Chicano nationalists of the 1970's to describe plans for the restoration of the vaguely-defined Aztec homeland called Aztlán. These groups do not generally use the word "reconquista". The word does not properly apply to immigration outside territories lost by Mexico in the Mexican-American War following the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.[2]

In more recent times, the notion of Indigenous liberation has become popularized by the Mexica Movement, which the Minuteman Project credits as being central to the modern reconquista ideology [1]. Whereas previous groups have advanced the notion of reclaiming only the U.S. Southwest, the Mexica Movement goes further by demanding that the entire North American continent be reclaimed by Mexicans, Central Americans, Native Americans, and Canadian First Nations.[2]

This non-violent Indigenous liberation of the continent would remove all colonial borders and weld North and Central America into a single super-state called Anahuac. This continental notion far exceeds the Aztlan demands of previous generations.

The Mexica Movement regards the Aztlan concept as error-filled and inadequate. The group seeks to remove all borders imposed since 1492, replacing them instead with continental borders, from Canada to Costa Rica. The organization regards Spanish-imposed borders as "colonial", and hence, irrelevant.

The organization regards this "liberation" as a long-term project, involving several generations. The group supports the preservation of the United States Constitution as a transitional legal framework to accomplish their liberation through democratic (and demographic) processes.

This process will require a majority-status population of Mexicans and Central Americans, which the U.S. Census Bureau projects will become a reality sometime around the end of this century. [3] It is for this reason that the Mexica Movement encourages Mexican and Central American population expansion, both by migration and through high fertility rates.

The organization also demands the "reverse immigration" of European-descent people "back to Europe."[4]
