Another radio antenna option is to use your windshield frame if you have a cuddy or dually. I know that many boat manufacturers did this from the factory. They work pretty well with no antenna to get broke off. And if you have a VHF on your vessel, SHAKESPEARE makes a splitter that goes inline with your VHF antenna cable and gives you an AM/FM antenna plug. This method gives you VERY good reception since your using an 8 foot antenna in most cases.

lumber, sorry, I missed your post and just saw it this morning. Thanks for the pixtures. I really LOVE your setup. Very clever the way you put them behind the seat cushions in the front.

This is where i put mine, in the cabin & out of the weather. it has a built in antenna & picks up very well. it is a PIA to get to to change anything, so a remote is a definate plus.
