I was told today worst case May 10th . They are going to do some testing over the next couple of days that will tell them if it is hard enough to withstand the weight of forklift/boat . There is a chance that we get in a week or so sooner . The only good thing is that the wind has blown for about two weeks non stop . But I'm sure ready to get on the water . My warranty is running and my new motor ain't !!

Hey, labii...that sounds GREAT!!...stick some on ice now, cause next trip to Sunset is already on the books for wk of June 18...is there a good ''waterin'-hole'' w/a tie-up in the ditch up there or will this be BYOB (Bring Yo Own Brewski)? ;D ;D

WE ARE ON ! It may not look like it , this is a great water front bar&grill . It's also only about a couple of miles out to Bald Head Island.

Soon as I saw casual and overlookin' yacht basin...I'm SOLD...looks like a nice little scooter-poot up the ditch from Sunset... 8)...been meanin' to make it up that way, looks like a good time to go!!... ;) ;D 8)...

It is about a 20 mile run for me . It should be about 1/2 way between us . It is a very casual spot . Beer is in a serve yourself cooler and food is served at tables out on the dock.

That's about what I's figurin'...hopin' it's flat enough to run out front...all those No Wake Zones are a pain... :P...but the Provision Co looks like it'll make it worth the while either way... ;D...

labii...We're drivin' in on Sun. and departing on Sat...are you gonna be able to get together during the week, M-F?

With this much notice it should not be a problem . I too would like to see a flat day . I love running down the coast + the Cape Fear River can be a bear when the wind and tide are not working with you.
