It comes down to, that I have a Rich man's taiste, But have a Poor Mans Wallet :'( :'(
Was only looking to spend about $350.00, but it looks like I'll be spending more.

msb I've used a handheld Magellan unit for ten years. * It marked my hot fishing spots and is still on the boat. *I saved for my Lowrance 339c for a year. *Buy a low cost hand held now and save for whatever more expensive unit. *Navionics is a nice option to have for your better unit. *Bill Mc * ;D

Hand held will then be your backup along with your compass.
