Welcome to the site, just remember, don't get hung up on purchasing the perfect boat.
All used boats have an issue but on the V's it seams like
any issue is easily repaired by the owner/do it yourselfer.

Oh , where might that driveway be?

I live in Newark, DE. Boat is located near Atlantic City, NJ. I looked in the gallery and didn't see it posted so I doubt the new owner is aware of this site.

All right, another De. Member. We'll be taking over this site in no time. ;D

Parishht, not to high jack the thread, but what did use again for your floor hatch cover ??

Also, do we have the same year V, This 78 project V has
scuppers coming out of the splash well.
You have a shot of of your transom ?
Do you have a 20" transom as well. ?
I'm raising my transom to 25". "Hopefully".

Yup, same year, 78.
I think I do have the 20", it looks the same.
Best shot that I have of my transom:

The hole to the right of teh motor is mirrored on the left side.
They are drain holes.
The scuppers are inside from the floor to the engine area.
My backflows are broken, so I keep corks in the engine are to
stop the ocean from coming in.

Floor hatches - at Home Depot, they have a trex like deck material.
It is gray and comes in 8 fooy lengths and is solid like real wood.
Then I painted them white with plastic paint.

http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...cStoreNum=4110

This says 21.97 per 12 foot, I think the 8 footers were 16& change.
Also the picture shown shows the grooved side,
the other side has a wood like pattern.
