I know nobody eats them but I do and Chinese people do. I have seen them in the supermarket for sale listed as tuna fish.

I blackened a true bonita once, man it was good. They have straight lines down the side. I'm not talking about false albacore aka fat albert. But some people still call false albies bonita. Then there's skipjack tuna, similar, caught one of those once too on a store bought teaser that I removed the hooks from but I accidentally left a hook on the end. Connected to the stern cleat meant to be used as a teaser. That was cool.
