Pull the fuel sender, you can use a rigid piece of tubing and vacuum the bottom of the tank if need be. You can get a siphon going with just a primer bulb. If you are trying to go thru the fuel.pickup, it should have an anti siphon valve, so, guess what, ot won't siphon. I've got an electric fuel.pump hooked to a double atack of fuel filters for polishing or transferring fuel. If you run old fuel in you yard equipment make sure to run a decarbon additive. I found out the hard way with my generator

With the price of gas now you could probably sell the old stuff for $3 a gallon!

Step, I believe the gas is a year or two old. I can’t be sure, but better safe than sorry. Now that you ask that question…. I’m kind of wondering myself. Maybe I’ll run it in the tub this weekend and see how she runs.

So I drained the tank today and the gas looks bad. Phat, I used that battery powered pump from harbor freight. Let me tell you, that little piece of sh!t pumped that tank like a sunofagun! Pumped a solid gallon in like 40 seconds.
At first, it came out like iced tea, but what I can only imagine was water separated and floated. After about 10 gallons, it started coming out yellow. Kind of like lemonade. We got 25 gallons out of it and plenty of solid crap mixed in. I figure I’ll run it through the gas station, load up with 20 or 30 gallons and back it down the ramp. I guess after bouncing around for a while, some of the solid crap will run through the line and get filtered out. After a couple tanks I’ll change the filter/water separator element. Just have to run a touch of silicone around the tank hatch, clean it up a bit and we’re ready to drift for fluke.
I’m getting there gents!!!
