Smile

My first V20 was an I/O. Had a 350 engine with a OMC outdrive with the ball gear coupling in it. Once I learned to weld hardface on the ball gear "fingers" to reduce the wear it was actually a pretty good system. Had to replace the tilt motor about every 2-3 years which, due to it's location was a pain, but other than that I loved the boat and everything that Ferm said about economy, ease of maintenance, etc. is true for the most part.

And I'm curious also. What rule was violated that removed the original post link?

There seems to be a lot of people that stumble onto this site list a boat or buy things that have a low post count. I always prefer to deal with people that have some posts to follow, helps to get a feel for how dealing with them will be. When I break that I seem to get burned.

The Classifieds forum here at WellcraftV20 is a free service to our members (though donations greatly appreciated ). And seeing that membership is FREE, this essentially becomes a Free Classified Forum (hint: though donations greatly appreciated - see below ).
Participate in the forums! To sell in the classifieds you will need a minimum of 30 posts to list an item to sell. We are a community, we survive by people like you participating in out community.

My only requests:
Please conduct yourselves in a honorable manner!! While WellcraftV20 is not responsible for scams and bad transactions, we encourage quality transactions.
Participate in the forums! To sell in the classifieds you will need a minimum of 30 posts to list an item to sell. We are a community, we survive by people like you participating in out community.
If you sell something, throw some money into the tip jar every now and then. Sell something big? toss in something a little bigger - do what's fair

Donations can be submitted with PayPal here: [email protected]

I did not stumble apon the site, I have actually been reading posts for a while. Dad got me turned onto this site. I never posted because I didn't have a reason to, most topics have been covered.

So I could just spam 28 more posts to reach the minimum. =P

Did you have any luck selling your boat? I remember it from the initial post. Really a nice looking boat. If you respond, that will get you up to #3. Ha Ha. Good Luck.

Then what you do is contact the site owner and ask him for permission to make a classified post. MacoJoe is the site owner. He may say yes, he may no, but at least you'll have permission and not violate the site rules. Being that you joined over 2 years ago I would think the odds would be in your favor for an affirmative decision.
