she needs a 740 cca, i have a marine 800mca i just bought this summer for my whaler, if it fits the hole, why can't i just use it?

I had to buy a battery for my Jeep Cherokee a few days ago. I almost went into sticker shock when I saw the prices!!! I bought an Exide 1000mca for the V 3 years ago and paid less than what the 750cca Jeep battery cost me on Monday. $124 from Walmart.

WTF happened?

What did you think was going to happen when o shut down all the lead smelters in the US because they were "to dirty"? And then all the battery production except for ONE company went to mexico, and they are ALL using imported lead.
