Default This part is a blast

Always liked taking things apart, even got pretty good at putting them together after a few years. ;-)
I Like taking this old 225 apart for two reasons, one - never got deep inside a 2-stroke before & two - I don't have to put it back together!!

Much more fun this way.

So far it looks pretty good, top cylinder on the Stb side was toast. Only broke off one bolt so far.

Broke one head cover bolt when I was taking it apart, things looked pretty good but then I got that head cover off & the wrist pin fell out! The piston, or what was left of it, was sideways in the cylinder. Having more troubles with the bolts on the midsection, is that even worth taking apart?

I'm thinking what's left of this beast may just be taking a ride to the scrapyard.

Already got new canvas & cover for the bimini on the cheap!

Have a source for a boarding platform.

& maybe another pedestal seat, I took that seat box out today & I like it!

Took out about 100 stray screws & abandoned gadgets today too. Pulling the tank cover next, just to make sure.

That seat box is actually a dock box w/2 seats on it...I LIKE it too!!...great idea for additional storage!!...
