HI! Welcome aboard. Looks like you've got a nice CC there. I wouldn't worry too much about the seat.. I've seen a lot worse here and there.
Great view from your back door. I'm jealous.

if that is a 225 opti and its killing you on gas, there's something wrong, if that's a 225 EFI with an opti cowling, thene I understand why its sucking fuel.

Nice boat, great view from the back porch and welcome to the site.

Welcome aboard! Nice rig. I am with Spareparts. It says Opti? Fuel mileage nearly unrivaled with the Optis. Unless it is something else.
I never seen a leaning post used on the front deck. I like it. Gives you something to lean against whilst hoisting the anchor. Prolly has a couple rod holders too.

Thanks guys, The motor is a 2007 opti, It has about 1100 hours total or so on it but the when I got it about 6 months ago the power head & lower unit was rebuilt with 150 hours on it. It has a 4 blade 18 degree pitch prop. When I first got it I could get it up to 44 with a full load and 4 people on the boat but now I can barely get up to 38 mph by myself. I can't get past get up to 5000 rpm so idk after seeing some guys on here with my same set up getting up to about 53 mph and getting in the 5k rpm range.

I've got the mercury smart gauge system and the fuel flow rate say in burning I think 15 gph going 30mph I'm not positive on that though. If my simple math is correct then that's 2mpg; I really feel like it I should be fast with being more efficient. So hopefully y'all can help me solve this situation.

Also I LOVE!!! The front backrest. It's awesome offshore when anchoring and chasing birds.

As already mentioned the Opti is generally known as a fuel sipper...and if you are losing top end speed there's definately something amiss under that hood...once you get it straightened out, she oughtta be a real screamer on a CC...

Nice lookin' CC ya got there!..

And anybody can look out their back door and see their boat at the dock is OK w/me...

you need to gt that engine checked out before something gives up. Start with a compression test. Check the ecm for codes, make sure the engine is getting up to temps(check thermostats) and check the mechanical fuel pump for leaks(internal). Sounds like you are using too much fuel and not running on all 6
