Default Finally got the Tabs on

I finaly found the time to install the Trim Tabs on the V. Might get out next week and check out the Improvement before heading Salmon fishing. I ran the wire through an existing hole saving at least two more I have to drill bellow the H2O line.

22 Brand new holes that might be why it took me a year to put the tabs on. I used two tubes of 3M 5200 got that sh!t all over the place but I think it's sealed good.
I have spent all day and I don't have power to the rocker switch. I think the Brain might be F*&%ed.
They look nice any way.

The V is a diffrent boat now with the Tab's I played with it in 2-3' waves for an hour to get a little idea of how to use them and how they handle. It was awsome took the Ride to a new level I was eating the waves with the sharp bow and the flare did it's job to a T gently tossing the spray stright out side ways no bow slap with out a drop on us. I was very impressed with how she enters the wave when your 3/4ing them wiht the tabs down. I run across the lake at 28-37Mph in pretty good wave action with the best ride I have ever had. I had a few guys come over to me in the marina asking about the boat after seeing us out on the water. Not in the 50Mph club yet the top speed I was able to hit 49.6Mph on the GSP but I did wave 3/4 of a tank of fuel the kicker motor and 3 guy's in the boat. Mabie I can make it into the club with a tail wind.

I'm definitely envious....nice work on the tabs Redneck. Also, a belated sorry for the loss of your grandfather.

So are these the 12x9 lencos in the $800 - $900 range? I hate to part with that much dough for an accessory but it sounds like it is worth it. I guess I will start saving my pennies.
