trailer advice

ok i realy need a trialer that i can drive the boat up and winch it up as well so it looks like im staying with the rollers on the keels and teflon skids

If you arrive at a good setup and find the Teflon skids just don't seem to work out, indoor/outdoor carpet and a spray down of silicone does wonders if applied every few months.

I had bunk, I've had ( have ) roller and guess I'm not comfortable wondering if I can get out and back in. With the roller trailer I don't even have to submerge the trailer like a submarine. But hey - any boat and trailer that works is better than no boat and trailer.

as long as my boat will float I can launch it, just start it up & back right off, or just snatch it off if you are alone. I've launched boats from the sides of highways, in ditches, beaches, and ramps of all kinds, just don't see an advantage to rollers.

Just saw you use teflon skids, you better strap that thing down. I like that the carpet sticks, keeps the big boy stable & I don't backstrap unless I'm going a long distance.

Ran teflon bottomed airboats for years & I've seen several slide off the trailers.

One right into the back of the truck that was pulling it!
