They are STUPID-THICK out there right now because of no pressure. They closed our season after a measly three months. Kinda hard to get a bait past them to anything else. June 1st will be a massacre!!!

StepUp - Thanks!! Be sure to catch some of our other videos on the Golden Isles Outdoors channel. There is some funny stuff on there and some fine fishin!!!

Lucky Jack - .......The Surprise is not old; no one would call her old. She has a bluff bow, lovely lines. She's a fine seaboat: weatherly, stiff and fast, very fast, if she's well handled. No, she's not old; she's in her prime.

Agreed. I've hooked up with some real bruisers before I couldnt turn before they got in the wreck (only 100' deep). Ive had em make a 6/0 and 100# braid scream like a Zebco 404. They aint no joke.

Yep, as far as pound-for-pound fighters they gotta be in the top 3.

Your Zebco comment reminded me of when I saw a reel literally get beat to peices on one. It was a little shi**y shimano that toasted the drag washers and then it was all over with a puff a smoke. Shortly after I had the "get what ya pay fer" conversation with my buddy.....I didnt have to sell it that hard, the AJ did most of the talkin!!!!
