Default Thanks

Thanks guys. I've been picking up alot of info off this forum from you pros. When I say I'm a New-B, I mean I have never even done my first boat launch yet!! This is my first ever boat, and I had a lot of my buddies with boats help me pick one out.

It's a 1990 V-20, with a 1996 johnson 175 and a 2004 dual axle trailer. I'm in the process of bottom painting it black, already removed all the decals and have new ones on the way. I will be sure to post before and after pics as soon as I'm done in the next couple weeks!!

In the meantime, I will almost definitely be sure to pick you alls brains!!

Welcome to the site. Congrats on the "t"-top...you got it for a steal for sure. Whichever of your buddies that advised you to look at the V20's...you need to buy them a beer or 3. Far and away this is one of the best boats in this size that's ever been made. Treat her right and give her the maintenance she deserves and she'll get you out and back a lot safer than boats much larger than her. Just make sure you have all your safety equipment onboard and functioning. (Lifejackets, fire extinguisher, radio, depth finder, first aid kit, etc) And yes, please do post pics of your new toy. We love boat porn on this site.

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.
(Leave the rest to God)

Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.
