Anyways, they were in an aluminum boat, looked to be 20-22 feet long, and a TILLER STEER 225 Yamaha 4 stroke!!!!![/QUOTE]

Was Popeye Driving Forarms of steel hands of stone. We got a guy up here on the walleye circut with a 18' lund and a 200 Tiller Steer he says it gives him more controll. I would have guessed the steering wheel should have done that for a guy.

Here's my two cents. I upgraded from a 17' aluminum to a V-20 and noticed a huge improvement because of the extra weight of the V-20. The light aluminum hull was really effected by the wind. It was hard to troll with a cross wind and when drifting with live bait, the wind would increase the drift speed and turn the boat. I used to have to cut my drifts short to avoid running into the fiberglass boats on the same drift. Granted, it was only 17', but I personally will stay away from aluminum hulls because I regularly have to fish in the wind on the west coast.
