Default Trailer Advice????

Guys i'm looking for advice before I make a final decision about my trailer.... I have a 1984 V center console with a 1989 Merc 200 outboard plus 60 gallon tank. boat is 1920 dry, motor im guessing 4-500 fuel tank full would be 360

I presently have a duel axel continental trailer that needs two new axels, hubs and bearings. Cost to repair is $800. I also have to say that the shackles seem bent and the bunk brackets are not in the best condition so those repairs will be required before long.

I looked at a 2005 Magic tilt 3100 roller trailer today in very good condition and the guy is asking $500. The trailer seems great but i'm concerned about the 3100 rating.

My other option is another duel axel float on Magic Tilt trailer rated for 5200 pounds. The trailer frame is good. The springs seem ok but will need replacing next year plus the brakes are shot (not that I need them) This guy was looking to get $700. for the trailer. My boat is presently sitting on this trailer at a repair shop and sits on it very well. Just concerned about traveling.

I wish I could afford more but the 700 is at the top of my budget as the better half was recently laid off. So do I go with the lesser very good trailer which is rated for 3100 pounds or the heavier duty trailer that will require some work at 700.

I really do not want to reair my existing trailer since I am not happy with it. My tow vehicle is a 2500 HD truck so no issues thier.....
