The quote that sparked this interesting thread is actually a mix of quotes from several sources. The bit about "We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian," etc., was cribbed straight from a 2001 essay by Barry Loudermilk, who wrote those words for an essay in a local Georgia newspaper.
