Seeing that I have the same boat and motor set up, let me say this, Don't pay a lot, and repower it, don't even mess with the motor!!

Very easy to remove all the out drive and bell housing, sell on ebay or local boat trader, make a $1000+ on all the take off parts!
Fill the hole, take the $1000 (find used Cheaper)get your self a nice bracket and install.

Get a used or if you have the cake a new e tec, motor and never look back!!

Anything else let me know!! ;)
