Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt books are really good reads. He has gone off the original series with a lot of runoff characters, but the original books think they started in late 70's or early 80's and through the 90's are really entertaining. All about diving, boating...

He's the man CaptJ. truck was Miss Agnes, named after a teacher he had in elementary school. The awful blue color of the truck reminded him of her hair.
