Like I said before,
stay on Central Freight, make them know you will not
give up. I would definately mention BBB and play the lawyer card.

I work for DANA Corp, and make Heavy truck frame siderails.
We used Central for small shipments to engineering centers.
We are talking steel "C" channels that are 25 feet long
or longer. They would lose them for weeks and then all of a sudden they would show
up at the destination.

Parish do you realize, I'm sure you do how absolutely absurd that sounds. UPS FED ex and a half dozen others ship all over the world and rarely lose anything from tiny items to huge items. And they can tell you where it is while they are doing it. Sweet Lord even the Post Office does it.
But this company has misplaced a 350 lbs. outboard motor on a freakin pallet goin from Fla to Mass. , and lost your huge loads of steel beams frequently.
We need to give MJ some time to sort this out, after that we need to start calling the company, we need both ends of the transaction to report it to the police and enter the item NCIC, and we need the better buisness bureau involved and we need to start posting info on the different web sites. If several of us start calling them and several of us start on the web can raise a lot of grief and cost that company a lot of money and buisness. And the complaint with the better buisness bureau needs to be done in their home office state and where the transactions started and terminated.

I know it sounds absurd, but because of corporate policy
and cheap rates, we were forced to use Central. :(

I agree with you about notifying all the agencies.

By the way, they lost freight going from eastern Pa to Mid Ohio. Central is notorious for this.
