You keep harping on President trump not saying anything sooner. Allow me to point out something to you. President trump was under NO obligation to say or do anything that day. He did see that a small fraction of people were getting out of hand and eventually asked them to be peaceful, however he wasn't required to. Anything more than that is just your opinion and has no weight in any discussion.

And let’s not forget that Pelosi was in charge of ordering adequate protection, ignored warnings and declined several offers of additional law enforcement presence.

Her obvious motivation, unless she’s just a VERY stupid person, was to have an incident that she (like YOU) could attach to all Republicans, being the lying political hack that she is. Pelosi was 100% responsible for not having adequate security at the Capitol on Nov 6 - Period. It’s very reasonable to think that it was purposeful, given her extreme political dishonesty, demonstrated over decades.

That doesn’t excuse the violence of a very small percentage of the demonstrators, but it makes her very much culpable with respect to the police injuries as well as those of the protestors, including the death of the unarmed woman.
