MJ,
That's my thought exactly. Hammer, My sliding hatch is like that too. I agree the top needs to be mounted a little further aft. Other than that, do you guys think it looks alright on that V. The boats here in Va. by the way. I need to get some more details on the boat and motor to make sure I don't buy something that is hard to get rid of. Also, it looks to me like a top from an older 24 Albemarle.

trailer this area would be worth about $900 to $1200 Motor $300 to $500 not running and $900 to $1200 running. Hard top $400 to $600. Hull well if soild $500 to $700. looks like a fair deal if solid.
I think the motor is on a lifting plate so he can pick it straight up the transom then tilt. the midsection it has doesn't look like a sea drive.

I purchased the same trailer with rollers for $750.00 which was a few years old. That top "to me" does not look sturdy enough and will shake back and forth allot. If I'm looking at the pic correctly you can see a bend where the cross bars mount to the other bars (left side). I just think its too much weight with not enough support.

SR - I think you are right about the support issue. It does look bent now that you mention it.

it almost looks like a bimini top frame with a hardtop attached.
Still would like to take a look in person if possible |
