ok ready here you go...I usually get this when I am going to mow the lawn on a sweltering day....READY.....

Go to your local 7-11, quicky mart or wherever you get the local slushy type drink. Fill 1/2 way with whatever type of slushy you enjoy. Proceed home and then fill other half of slushy with whatever poison you like...Personally bacardi rum or parrot bay coconut rum...mix a little with straw and enjoy...be wary of brain freeze....needless to say, by end of slushy, lawn is not cut straight....wife thinks I'm only drinking slurpy.

That sounds good. Several times I have been drinking a slushie and thought that some booze would be good in it. We have "Parrot Ice' arround here, one of the flavors is peach, I bet it would be great w/ some rum in it.

What's amarula? Could it be a combination of amaretto and Kahlua?

summer time drink of choice (after boating) is the classic Sundowner.
Made with either old original gin Plymouth, which is still made in the same wooden vats used for hundreds of years in the same town and same family.
A close second and almost indistinguishable is the original Bombay Gin.
The classic sundowner is made with a couple of rocks and a squezze of lime and either of the above. The classic drink made on safari in africa to this day.
I being a little more civilized prefer a splash of tonic.
If I am somewhere where it available a good mojito will always be my first choice.
