Well, I see 2 notches here. 1 factory and 1 "sawsall".
The factory notch is where it dips down in the middle. This of course, is to accomodate the 20" outboard. The "sawsall" notch is on the left side of the factory notch in the picture. Just a guess, but looks to me someone notched out a couple of inches to allow the steering arm to fully extend when turning left. ???

OK OK OK.......
I went out in the rain just now and snapped these pics......not the best but it's a start LOL...... Remember, I just uncovered this and haven't even taken a hose to it other than to the muffs to get her running. :P (Sorry about the 'Burb, I have a trailer hooked to it with 2 tons of crushed stone in it, it's parked RIGHT there for a reason (ruts, spreading stone somewhere, didn't feel like miving it just for these, it'll be gone by tomorrow so won't be in the next set of pics.)

Thanks, guys, for letting me put her on here also! I'll still be checking in from time to time...never know, I may get one for myself to compliment my father's 26 Fortier sometime *:) But for now I can be found at the helm of his boat (or the stern working the pit! :D)
