no i work for the State of NC as a Communications Specialist. I just do boats, cars, drag cars, model yard trains, and *racing Stand Up jet skis as a fun and hard loved hobby. I plan to start building boats in the next few years. I've got to move my current boats out of the yard. But i hope to build boats like the boats you'll see at www. Shearlineboatworks.com boats. Boats a a much cleaner easier job than cars and race motors.

We've had an Aquasport 20' for 8 years, and it's a beaut. Think it's a 1985 hull with a 100 HP Mariner, has hit 32 mph while racing a duck. Really solid boat, hardly wet at all unless you do something foolish (like I love to). Very good structurally, but rebuilt the transom in 99/00. Only concern is I dropped it off a 3 or 4 footer this summer at WOT and the floor flexed down upon re-entering the atmosphere to the point that I was stopped by gastank. (Hence my membership of this forum.) They built them to be rugged, and they sure as snot are. The same hull was allegedly (my dad is a bit of a suspect yachtsman) lifted and dropped 4-6 times by an excessive GB wake on some Maine ledge, with no damage.
