around 6 inches or so IIRC, be careful replacing wires on an outboard, the aftermarket wires are rarely as good as old oem ones

Spare ,the reason I asked is that I am replacing all my wires, the ones that are in there are 7 inches, I ordered them from a marine whse and the person asked me for my serial number, she said that it calls for 9 inch wires I was a little concerned so I had a longer one and cut it down to 9 inches, it looks like it will be good but the ones I had were 7 inches So I ordered the 9 inch ones since she said that's what my engine should have but I'm kinda with you on the lenght. 6 inches would be tight 7 inches are good but maybe 9 inches is what it calls for IDK What would you have ordered?

I'm very luck to have a marine wholesale warehouse near me that I order most my parts from(my wife works there as well), When I've need a wire(rarely), I just matched them up to what was on there.
