I don’t see difference between 20 & 21 transoms in terms of lasting longer ....but of course since the 21 style transoms the newest, they tend to be in better shape.

Still, does the V20 also have this type of issue for the transom?

I'm new to V20's and trying to learn as much as I can.

ANY boat with a wood transom and with an aluminum or plastic trim covering the seam at the transom is going to have wet wood someday. SO the answer is yes. V20s have an aluminum trim.
