Default Project update.

Well, I didn't meet my Memorial Day goal (by a long way). The month long kitchen/den flooring project and the 12 hour work days put me way behind. I suppose it doesn't matter. Iv'e got most all of the stress cracks ground out and filled. I am lowering my standards a bit and have gone from "perfection" to "good the hell enough". I could be there all year trying to repair every little crack and it's just not going to happen.
I'm going to use a paint system from Devoe starting with 201 epoxy primer and topcoating with 379 two part polyuerethane. This is good paint and is much more affordable than Awlcraft 2000. I will let you know how it holds up, I have no worries though. I'm going to try and get it painted before I leave on a week and half vacation at the end of next week. I'm heading to New Hamshire to pick up my father then up to Quebec to do some fishing.
Mac.................I would post some pics, but there's not much to see. ;)

Thats right shicks its your boat, unless your going to a show make it practicle and enjoyable. I'll be interested to see how that paint does. The awlgrip stuff is pricey. It did dry hard though. I sqirmed for a long time before I bought it. At least you got your priorities in order. Wifey then boat. Some might not agree. But it will pay off in the long run. 8) Vic

If I'm not mistaken Awlcraft 2000 is a different product (and animal) than Awlgrip. Just a thought.
