Could the green color formed at my copper bus bars connections (a form of corrosion on the copper) can be weakening my electrical continuity? Has anyone used Dielectric grease on them and can tell me about it.? Thanks!

after a good cleaning, i use something like this to keep the corrosion down. this is from the grainger site, but napa, oreiley's, wally world, etc. sell it also.
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/CRC...134?Pid=search dielectric is a good lubricant for connections, so apply then coat |

I have always used grase when making connections and CRC in the fall after the season to clean and coat for the winter with no worries!!
But for that getting green I bet its getting wet some how and needs to be found!!

Consider that I'm in a climate (Miami) that's about 80-89% humidity year round. So it's wet even when it's sitting in my trailer at home. Plus, I'm less than two miles from the ocean.

There's also an old Navy trick for corrosion on brass and copper. Clean it completely, then make your connections, then coat the whole thing with clear lacquer.
I've used this brand http://www.super-spray.com/prods/76.html on several things and it works very well. But truthfully, just about any clear lacquer spray will work just as well. As long as you don't disturb the coating after it dries it will last for years with no corrosion on the metal it's protecting. Just remember to make your connections before you coat the terminals.
