I can't express how much it is appreciated. Sylvia passed on at 3:45AM Sunday morning with my wife by her side. I am sure that all the prayers were heard and she is now in a better place. Thank You all.

Sorry Monkey, just saw this thread. Prayers sent for her and her husband and for you and your wife. May He grant you the peace you so richly deserve.

I'm just getting back to having some "Steve" time on the Innerweb and I can't keep track of all the online friends that have offered Prayers and support but let me say that the spirit of this group as I forwarded your posts was a big boost to my wife as she sat by her mother's bedside and later grieved at her passing. Sylvia or "Sis" was a good woman and a model Grandmother to my children as well as a wise and sweet Mother in Law. While I will truly miss Gramma I don't think anything can compare to the loss of one's own Mother.

My wife was able to meet a few of you, MJ, CB, RKC, RWilson, etc. at the raft up this summer and she thoroughly enjoyed your company, you made a positive impression on the group as a whole.

Many of the other sympathy email that she has received from her "girlfriends" had pictures of Care Bears, Flowers, Hearts, and Cuddly Little Kittens. You expect sympathy and good words from these people.

But I don't think she expected to see a bunch of support from a rag tag group of sweerin', drinkin', smokin', greasy handed, tattooed, beer swillin', fat-assed, scarred, 2-stroke burnin', boat luvin', group of Gentlemen as you guys.

Thank You and God Bless you all!

Flattery will get you nowhere.
